Remember Your Inner Light~
In the midst of All that’s happening in your world and our world collectively the perennial timeless yoga sutra 1.36 visoka va jyotismati translates to "the mind can also find peace by contemplating the luminous light arising from the heart which is the source of true serenity.” Mukunda Stiles Another translation from B.K.S. Iyengar is “our inner stability is gained by contemplating a luminous, sorrowless, effulgent light.” The tradition states that there is a light within each one of us that is beyond all sorrow and all conditions. I know I need that reminder on the daily. In this respect I am offering a practice where we can come together in community to detangle and unwind from life’s stresses and rearrange our energy through the practice of asana, pranayama and mantra. Once our energy is more available to us we can rest well in that nectar of knowing that we are held and supported by both seen and unseen forces. Our time together will culminate with a meditation to remember our inner light and move forward bolstered by it.
